RESEARCH ACTIVITY

Ongoing (research):
– Definition of the way of settlement and of the mobility’s strategies of the hunter-gatherers in the alpine environment.
– Lithic technology and adaptative behaviour of the Neanderthal Man in mediterranean Europe.
– Sperimental research on the modality of production and conditions of use of prehistoric  throwing weapons.

Supervision and coordination of research groups:
– Riparo Mochi (Ventimiglia, Liguria). Middle-Upper Paleolithic excavation.
– Ribeira Ponte da Pedra (Portugal). Lower, Middle, and Upper Paleolithic excavation.
